The back half of Invincible’s second season is coming our way in about a month, and Prime Video has released a teaser trailer to show us what’s in store for Mark (Steven Yeun) as he tries to be a better superhero than his dad.

As the trailer reveals, it looks like Mark is heading back to space, whether he wants to or not. While there, it seems that he’ll have a run-in with his father, Nolan Grayson (JK Simmons), and have to deal with Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown) unleashing some brainwashing shenanigans. There is also a lot of violence, of course, with some poor folks getting ripped in half.

Here’s season two’s official synopsis:

Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around eighteen-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in season one, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear—that he might become his father without even knowing it.

In addition to Yeun, Simmons, and Brown, season two of Invincible features the voices of Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Seth Rogen.

The second half of Invincible’s eight-episode second season will return on March 14, 2024 on Prime Video, with new episodes airing weekly. icon-paragraph-end
